Ali Lari.

A little more about me.

I’m Ali Lari. I work in capital projects at PwC Middle East and build products alongside the day job.

Engineering, consulting, building.

I studied mechanical engineering at the University of Toronto. I now work in Capital Projects Services at PwC Middle East, advising on infrastructure and real estate programmes across the Gulf.

I became a Senior Associate in July 2026, after joining as an Associate in September 2024. My work has covered commercial records, transformation plans, risk registers, KPI frameworks, and forecasting hospital capacity with machine learning and Power BI.

I passed CFA Level I in 2025. The common thread through engineering, finance, and software is wanting to understand how something works well enough to make it useful.

What I’m making.

I’m based in the UAE. GG PC started with a problem I ran into as a gamer: choosing compatible parts and comparing prices across local stores. I’m building the website, extension, pricing tools, and community around it.

Auditro brings me back to finance and procurement. It’s software for UAE In-Country Value workflows, with a focus on score decisions, supplier certificates, and evidence that people can trace.

Before that, I co-founded Clap Digital from March to August 2026 while consulting full time. I handled positioning, pricing, sales, and delivery.

Outside the work.

Training, reading, travel, chess, and gaming. I’ve been gaming since I was five, starting with Cars on the PS2 and GTA San Andreas. These days, Cyberpunk, CS2, and EU4 are in the mix.

The photo on this site is from Switzerland.
